Is this really a trend...?

I can't help but wonder, now that I've begun this blog of wedding bliss, is this social media network all it's cracked up to be?

I guess I just haven't figured out how to really use, create, and find others to blog with, other than a great friend, Melissa Crew, who you can follow (Crew Cuts) it's an excellent read! So welcome to the blog world Mel!

This upcoming weekend has a lot going on, KU/MU game Saturday afternoon (ROCK CHALK). Then my husband and I, along with his family will be attending a moto cross adventure at sprint. All there is to say about that is... I hope it has techno, and happy birthday Becca L. You're too tall to be so young.

My husband discovered a wonderful new trend of the "sports jacket," I think he was meant for that type of clothing, and dark jeans... HOT. Ha, I know, I said it, but seriously, I think I watched my man, become a trendy man... (Please don't change because I am boasting on your newly discovered side of fashion.)

You look classy baby..

The last thing I would like to discuss would be the lack of career placement MNU offers. I have never heard of a college that provides you with the classes for a degree, then refuses to help you find a job. And I am NOT saying that I need help locating a place of employment, there are plenty of opportunities, but in the broadcast section of the worlds career choices, the local jobs are slim to none. All I am saying is... come on, help me out! Send me in the right direction, at least. But no, the career development center is no longer there, darn budget cuts. I mean, WE NEED A CAREER CENTER, we are there to obtain a degree, and get a career, not get fat off of campus center food and their 2010 addition of rotisserie chicken, DR. ED! I mean seriously, we cut professors, classes, majors, and career center, but not your precious plethora of food. Priorities doc? I guess that's what they mean the way to a mans heart if through his stomach, ew.

Well, off to the "couples" dinner at Houlihans :)
