I've noticed that seems to be the status of a lot of individuals right now. The little things in life make them happy. Where did that simplicity go in life? There are so many people who pride themselves with how much they have, how much work they have done to approve their appearance and so forth. Yes, I am guilty of it too, until just recently, I thought the more the better, but why? It's not about money, that's a luxury not a necessity, it's not about fake tans, hair extensions, acrylic nails, or the best make-up. Life is so much easier, simplified.
Look at your family, they are real. They don't care if your hair is black, blonde, purple or brown, or if your fake tan is orange or gold, or if your nails are long enough they can be used as a ruler. They just love you. They are simple.
Life is as simple as you make it. The more you must have, the more you are complicating things for yourself. Learn to narrow down your goals, your needs and wants. Make a list. Cut things that aren't necessary, keep things that are. If there is a person in your life making things difficult, cut.
That sounded terrible. And very Al Pacino-esque.
Simplicity=sophistication.
On that note, I need to go get my nails painted, and my hair cut.
Ironic.
