Tomorrow will be my first, "entering adult world," interview.
I am beyond excited, I have never wanted a job so bad. Just the thought of transitioning out of this adolescent stage of college, that has taught me that what you learn in college applies little to the career field. BUT, the career field applies largely to the job. If that doesn't make sense, then you have just grasped everything I have learned at MNU thus far. But I do have a couple months left, so an update of intelligence may surprise you near May.
On another, less job related note, Derek is about to deploy. I think we have about 2 more weeks, then he's shipped out to serve his shift at as "The Big Sexy," aka Chinook. I'm proud of him, yes.
There are so many emotions surround his deployment: sad, happy, angry, proud, etc. The sooner he goes, the quicker he'll return and the longer he'll stay before deployed again. I can't wait for our life to start once he returns. There is so many new things to look forward to. He's my guy. What I love so much about being married, other than the D himself, is that he knows my goals, and my career hopes and supports me 100%. And while others are looking, stressing and dreaming about their "one," not focusing on what's good for them, I get to have my cake and eat it too. But everyone gets that at some point, playing your cards right is important. Derek taught me that, he's a poker king.
ps. We used our crock pot (compliments of Brice S.) Brisket, potatoes, carrots, onion = delicious !!!
Well that's all for now.
PG.
