D leaves tomorrow for his amazing pilot mission overseas. I am so proud and luck to have married a man with such great honor and respect!
He's just that guy that I will always love, and need. I can't help it if I am being a mushy lady right now, most of you reading this have your significant other in the same city, state, or room as you. And if you don't have a "partner," then there is someone you love that isn't too far. And if they are, well then I understand exactly what you're going through. It's funny, before you meet the one, there's an obvious empty place in your heart that needs to be filled, then you meet the person, and you are fulfilled, and when they go off to war, or where ever, it's a different empty feeling. It's not really empty, it's that a piece of you, has been moved to another state. I doubt this is a good example, but I literally feel like my heart is traveling to where ever he is. I have my whole body, but he has my heart, it won't be the same until he has returned home safely to me.
Derek R. Johnson:
I will always be your number one fan. I will never leave your side, no matter how far away you seemingly are. I will support you, and go where ever you need me to be. This is an unconditional love, that will never change, unless it's growing. Please stay safe, rely on the saints around your neck, and remember, home is when I am with you.
Forever, Me&You.
Yup, I had to be the mushy, annoying wife.
Don't worry, I'll post a less-mush read later. But until then...
